Junior High

At Mount Olive our junior high students will grow into the ​uniquely created children God created them to be. Our ​junior high students can expect to serve as the leaders of ​our school. Unlike the teachers in our elementary grades, ​our junior high teachers teach in their areas of specialty, ​so your child will move from class to class and become ​more independent in their learning. Our small class sizes ​ensure that your child will have the individualized ​attention to meet their God-given potential.

Your child will use their school-provided Chromebooks in ​almost every facet of their daily learning. From individual ​work to collaborating in peer groups, your child will have ​opportunities to learn through technology and hands-on ​experiences in a Christ-centered atmosphere. As your ​child is learning, our teachers will walk alongside them, ​consistently offering support as they form strong ​relationships.

In addition to core academic classes, your child will ​receive instruction in physical education, health, music, ​Spanish, art, and life skills. In 7th and 8th grade, your ​child’s religion curriculum will include confirmation ​classes, providing each 8th grader with the opportunity ​to be confirmed at the end of their 8th grade year.
